The Power of Early Detection, An Article By Rich D’Amato

April 15, 2026    1 min read

Richard D’Amato, CRNP, recently wrote an article for Downingtown Living magazine about the importance of early detection of autism spectrum disorder. He encourages parents to trust their instincts when they notice developmental differences in their young children. Early detection is critical because a child’s brain is most adaptable during the first few years of life. When autism is identified and supported early, children have a much better chance of developing stronger communication skills, social connections, and emotional regulation.
